Blue Mooners set for Relay for Life

The day will see a number of teams taking part by making sure that there is always a team member on the track over a period of 24hrs.

Among them will be ‘The Blue Mooners’ and they are hoping to get maximum support from the local public for their efforts.

The Blue Mooners team know too well how cancer can affect a family. Many of the members have watched more than one family member battle the disease and in most cases have watched a loved one suffer in their final days of life.

This is why they are hoping to raise as much money as possible.

A table quiz and disco are being held on Saturday 23rd May in the Rugby Club at 19:00. Teams of up to 6 are welcomed with entry costing £5 per person. There will be a raffle held on the night also.
