BT Blues Club Christmas jam

The BT Blues Club’s annual Christmas jam returns for the sixth year on Saturday, December 6.

The event will see an array of artists and bands take to the stage to provide the best in live blues, rock n roll, country and much more.

This year will see resident band the Counterfeit Notes joined by some old favourites and brand new acts.

Looi has managed to secure slots from Belfast based blues band Bridge, who with their flamboyant front man Bing will blast out a mix of guitar fuelled rock and blues.

The band are no strangers to the BT Blues Club and are looking forward to sharing in the Christmas jam session. Joining Bridge will be Electric Vultures, an excellent North Antrim based blues outfit with lead singer Ricky belting out blues classics.

Again, like Bridge, the Electric Vultures are no strangers to the club having played support slots and the main event a number of times over recent years.

This year Looi also hopes to bring something new to the Christmas Jam with some of the best young talent from Ballymena’s own Music Rooms.

Whilst playing at a recent charity event in the Braid, Looi spotted some excellent singer song writers who he has invited to perform at the Christmas jam session.

Doors will open at 3pm with live music starting at the earlier time of 3.30pm.

So folks don’t miss this event on Saturday which will start at an earlier time than usual to allow for the extended running order. The event will run to its normal time of 7pm.

There will be the usual raffle and prizes and the entry fee is £5.

They would also like to thank the BTPO Club for the excellent venue.

The events will kick off in 2015 with live music as usual on Saturday, January 3.
