Staff at Caffe Nero in Ballymena’s Fairhill Shopping Centre have been singled out for a coveted Caffe Nero Star award.
The Stars are awarded by customers and are operated by a scheme under the Caffe Nero company to accredit and praise individual staff and team members for outstanding performance in their role as baristas.
The customer, from the local area, who wishes to remain anonymous, praised Caffe Nero at Fairhill for “good ambience, careful choice of select products and drinks, charm from the staff and general good experience” and also commented that it “has an enviable European finesse which emphasises quality and essence”.
All staff were noted for their personal, friendly, helpful and professional approach with special commendation for Stephanie Beattie.
The customer was impressed by her efficiency and readiness to address the customer’s needs, and her ability to ‘hold the fort’ on her own while remaining calm, focussed, capable and charming.
Her colleagues Anca (store manager), Stefan and Diane, and Matt, Miha and Aleysha were also commented on as remarkable in their personal, friendly and professional approach to customers.
Additionally it transpires that Stephanie is devoted to other good works.
She, with other ‘Friends of the Cancer Centre’ in Belfast, is doing a Sponsored climb of Ben Nevis in June.
Funds raised will go to the Caner Centre.
