The luxurious salon, which includes state-of-the art cutting and colouring areas, has a boudoir feel and offers clients the chance to relax and unwind while being pampered and styled by the best in the business.

As it is the sister salon of Simon Houston Hairdressing in Galgorm, the Electric Chair provides a fantastic team of award winning stylists with over 15 years experience between them.

The simple approach of mixing experience with the personal touch is the perfect combination for this.

Partner and Senior stylist at The Electric Chair is Tim Harrison who has developed into one of the most talented stylists around.

Simon Houston has steadily built up a superb reputation as one of Northern Ireland’s leading senior stylists and this new Salon brings his award winning expertise to the centre of Ballymena. Simon is based at the salon every tuesday..

The rest of the team is made up by, Adrian Nicholl (who was a L’oreal Colour Trophy Finalist in 2010), Roxanne Graham, Ashlee Dunbar and Megan McFerran, each dedicated to ensuring you achieve the right style for you.

The talented staff refuse to rest on their laurels and are constantly receiving training to the highest standard at the Sassoon and Saco Academy’s in London and WellaStudio in Dublin.

The awards and finals just keep coming for the stylists with Simon and his team going through to Wella’s Trend Vision Final Northern Ireland in September.

All hair styles and events are catered for in the modern and extensively equipped salon, including put ups, formals, and bridal packages for weddings.

The Electric Chair are open all day Monday to Saturday with late night opening on Thursday until 9pm.
