The ‘Big Fashion Event’ - which was postponed due to the recent bad weather - will showcase leading style trends during an afternoon of catwalk shows and styling master classes.

Top models from the Alison Campbell Model Agency will take to the catwalk in S/S fashion for men and women from well-known Fairhill retailers including Miss Selfridge, River Island, Wallis, Next, New Look, Marks & Spencer, Debenhams and Clockwork Orange.

The catwalk shows will take place at 1pm and 3pm and the ‘Style Wardrobe’ will be kicking off at 2pm during which fashion merchandisers from participating stores will give master classes on how to recreate key looks.

Throughout the day models will be in shop windows, dressed in the latest styles to offer shoppers the chance to head into the stores and snap up pieces for the season ahead.

The team from Electric Chair in Ballymena will be creating catwalk ready looks, while the Boots beauty teams will be working their magic on customers with beauty make-overs.

Emma Louise Johnston will be hosting the event and giving her enviable style advice along the way.

Together these experts will take centre stage and offer hints and tips for every age, shape and size using a mix of outfits and accessories from various stores.

Natalie Jackson, Commercial & Marketing Manager at Fairhill, said: “We are delighted that our event is now going ahead and have pulled out all the stops to make it a great afternoon of style.

“Our retailers are looking forward to having the chance to showcase must-have pieces available for the season ahead. The expert advice will keep our customers ahead in the fashion stakes and achieve the latest looks without spending a fortune. We also have a few twists planned for the day so we know customers won’t be disappointed.”
