Get out and about and go walking with the Northern Walking Group

NORTHERN Walking is a community group who encourage community participation in walking as a healthy and social recreation.

The group hold short, medium and long walks to cater for all fitness levels and abilities.

The main walking areas are the Glens of Antrim and Antrim Coast, the Mournes, Causeway Coast and Belfast Lough.

As part of Northern Walking’s programme, a series of talks are held in relation to Heath and Safety while walking,

The next one will be held on Tuesday, May 22 from 7.45pm in the Adair Arms Hotel, Ballymena.

This will cover the basics in keeping yourself and others safe and well when walking and recommends what equipment to bring on a walk including aspects of the Country Code.

The talk is open to current and new members.
