Go ‘batty’ in Portglenone!

Two events with an outdoor element have been planned for the coming weeks.

The first of these will be a ‘Healthy Minds, Healthy Places’ Family Fun Day at the Ecos Centre in Ballymena on Saturday, June 18.

Bring your bicycles and a healthy lunch to the pick up at Market Square outside Portglenone Enterprise Group’s premises at 9.45am - the bus will be free and will return you back to the village for 4pm.

The next event on JHune 25 will be a fun and informative Bat Night Walk featuring a talk followed by a search for some of the eight species of bats found in this country.

Talk starts at Portglenone Community Centre at 9pm and as part of the event is outdoors, participants are advised to wear suitable clothing and bring a torch.
