Jungle Book brought to life

The Old Courthouse, Antrim will go wild on Saturday at 1pm and 3.30pm when Rudyard Kipling’s classic tale, The Jungle Book, is brought to life.

This is a new adaptation by Riverbank Productions for children aged four to nine and their families.

Set in the Indian jungle, it follows the story of Mowgli the man cub, who is brought up by wolves before befriending Bagheera the panther and Baloo the bear.

They have to guide him through all the dangers of the jungle where he must resist the flattery of the playful monkeys and be wary of the untrustworthy snake, Kaa.

Most of all they must keep him out of the clutches of his biggest enemy, the evil tiger, Shere Khan.

With the usual Riverbank trademarks of original catchy, singalong music, comedy, and audience participation, the cast will present a show guaranteed to please old and young alike.
