Kells & Connor WI teatime raises funds

Kells and Connor Women's Institute have raised funds for two causes by holding an Afternoon Tea.

Kells Community Centre was packed with friends, family, villagers and members from other WIs who enjoyed tea, scones, sandwiches, traybakes and cream cakes served ladies from the Kells and Connor Institute who also had their various handmade crafts on display.

There was also a bottle stall, bran tub, face painting, cake sale, raffle and other stalls with candles, body shop, bags, jewellery, knitted items and scarves.

All prorceeds were for The Macmillan Unit Antrim Area Hospital and Kells and Connor Improvement Association.
