More acts for Oxegen

PAULO Nutini is the latest act to be announced to appear at next year’s Oxegen festival.

The Scottish star joins Arctic Monkeys, Blink 182 and Foo Fighters as the first artists announced to perform at next year’s event, which runs from July 7-10.

Foo Fighters became the first confirmed band of 2011. The US superstars’ headline set will be the first chance for Irish fans to hear new material as well as anthems spanning their incredible Grammy laden career.

Tuesday saw one of the defining bands of the last decade, Arctic Monkeys, become the second Oxegen 2011 artist.

With 25 million worldwide album sales under their belt, pop punk trio blink-182 returned to the scene in 2009 with a stunning performance at The Grammy Awards and they’ll be back to showcase their new album at Punchestown.

A limited batch of Early Bird Saver tickets frozen at 2007 prices are on sale now. You can secure your ticket with a €100 deposit and then pay the remainder over a further two instalments.
