Music and literature at Pogue’s Entry

A series of Saturday morning events, featuring a succession of musicians and writers, continues to add a touch of colour and atmosphere to the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Irvine.

This Saturday, August 31, award-winning short story writer and author Bernie McGill will be appearing at Pogue’s Entry.

As well as reading some of her own work, Bernie will also be sharing the next chapter of the weekly reading of My Lady of the Chimney Corner, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of its first publication.
