“The aim of the schemes is to provide financial support through various categories for organisers of events as well as community groups, sports clubs and arts groups in the Borough who are undertaking projects which are of benefit to all of the citizens of Mid and East Antrim Borough.”

The Ballymena Grants Information Session will take place on Wednesday, March 22, at the Des Allen Suite, Ballymena Showgrounds, at 7pm. Similar sessions will take place in Larne and Carrickfergus.

Since the commencement of Mid and East Antrim Borough Council in April 2015, Grants Officers have received and processed over 1,100 applications and awarded £1.2 million. These awards have included the Community Grants Support Scheme, Good Relations Grants, the Community Festivals Fund and the Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) Grants.
