This Valentine’s Day was made all the more special for one lucky Ballymena resident when she won a fabulous hamper of gifts kindly donated by local businesses.
Ciara McCaul took part in Ballymena BID’s online competition to guess the correct name of a selection of popular films which had been given the ‘Bertie and Bella’ makeover with the bears re-enacting famous scenes.
The bears (and Grafters Design Studio) had great fun pretending to be part of films such as ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘The Wizard of Oz’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘Star Wars’ as part of Ballymena BID’s month of movies promotion.
In Ciara’s hamper, she received a beautiful bouquet of red roses from Sally’s Florist, one-month free membership at Flamingo Fitness, four free music lessons at The Music Rooms and vouchers from Marks and Spencer Fairhill Centre, Caldwells Jewellers, Elite Lighting, Wallace’s of Ballymena and Cookstown and John Wilson Hardware.
Alison Moore, Ballymena BID manager said; “Ballymena BID would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the businesses who have kindly donated such great prizes. It is great to have so many businesses supporting the month of movies promotion.”
Lucky winner Ciara said: “It was such a surprise to hear my name had been picked and I’m really pleased with the brilliant range of prizes that I have received.”
The fantastic photos of Bertie and Bella are available to view on Ballymena Means Facebook and Twitter with more famous film shots appearing over the next few days and another chance of winning a fabulous hamper of prizes from local businesses.
