Video: Be a Whitewalker!

The superb weather over the Easter break saw thousands of local people try out the newly completed ‘Whiterocks Clifftop Path’ outside Portrush.

Ramblers can now walk from the lower car park at the famous Whiterocks end of the West Strand via a new pathway offering magnificent views out over the Skerries.

While the clifftop walk is relatively short, it does lead on to the main footpath which runs alongside one of the most spectacular roadways in the world - the North Antrim coast road.

And, while most local people will have driven the route on countless occasions, relatively few will have walked this particular section. Truthfully, you can only really appreciate this section of coast by walking so take a tip and hit the road jack!
