Liam Neeson grew up in the Demesne public housing estate close to Ballymena town centre.
A solidly working class district, the Demesne was always well known as a ‘mixed’ area where, despite the ‘troubles’, people from all denominations lived as good neighbours.
It certainly isn’t Beverly Hills but for the Taken star the Demesne will always have a special place in his heart.
