Robin Swann, the North Antrim Ulster Unionist MLA has called on Mid and East Antrim Council to take urgent action to deal with the property in the village of Kells.

“I’m asking Mid and East Antrim Council to use whatever powers it has at its disposal to make safe the derelict house on the Church Road,” he said.

Mr Swann also asked the Council to trace the owners of this property to ascertain what their plans are for it.

He added: “It has been abandoned for a number of years and now it is not only an eyesore but, in its current condition, it is a health and safety hazard.”
