Africa is a ‘live issue’ for High Street team

HIGH Street Presbyterian Church in Antrim in partnership with local charity Abaana are sending a team out to Uganda this year.

The team will be painting a school and working with the street children of Kampala.

They aim to raise around £12,000 to carry out this project by undertaking a number of fund raising events. On Saturday, June 16, the hard-working collective are holding a concert to generate the final part of their funding.

Top band, Live Issue, will be playing on the night. Described as one of the most popular Country Gospel groups in the British Isles, they have worked alongside the likes of George Hamilton and recorded in Nashville, Tennessee! For more info visit www.liveissue.com.

The concert will take place in High Street Presbyterian and gets underway at 7.30pm. Tickets will cost £10 each with supper provided. If you would like to buy some, contact Amanda on 07736037787
