Ahoghill and Broughshane are bloomin' great

THE communities of Ahoghill and Broughshane are celebrating their first place category wins in the 2010 Translink Ulster in Bloom Competition

All the hard work which has been done on plant and floral displays in each of the two villages paid off last Thursday when it was announced that Broughshane had scooped best Large Village and Ahoghill had taken the best Small Town title.

They have now both been nominated to compete in their respective categories in the 'Britain in Bloom' – 2011 awards.
