Amended application for Frys Road housing development approved

AN AMENDED application for a new housing development has been given the go ahead by planners.

The application for the development on lands on Frys Road, Ballymena had originally requested to build 17 houses, however after a deferral, the applicant reduced the number to five.

Speaking on the issue to last Thursday night’s Public Sector Liaison Committee in Ardeevin, Denise Kerr said: "We had a meeting with Declan O'Loan and objectors this week. We restricted this development and particularly said there is to be no more than five houses.
