Antrim Grammar students are on the A-list!

Sixth form students at Antrim Grammar School had every reason to celebrate another set of excellent examination results.

89% of the grades awarded were A* - C with 40.1% of the grades awarded A* - A.

In addition to the examinations sat within the school, excellent results have been recorded by students who studied subjects through collaboration with NRC and the school is thankful for their continued support of pupils.

A school spokesperson said: “We are delighted with the achievements of our students and there have been some exceptional results. Deputy Head boy James Mawhinney achieved an impressive 3 A* and 1 A grades and Bryce Allen achieved 1A* and 3 A grades.

“Eight pupils achieved at least 1A* and 2A grades – Jose Benchikh-Rodriguez, Janet Bingham, Carys Brown, Matthew Elliott, Jacob McCollum, Josh Morrison, Jack Rankin, and Daniel Todd; Georgia Wilson achieved 3A grades. Our Year 14 students now leave us for the next exciting chapter in their lives and we wish them well in their chosen course or employment route.”

Year 13 students have laid excellent foundations for the coming year. 

Six pupils achieved 4 A grades - Victoria Clingen, Ben Collister, Matthew Dobson, Kyle Hill, Becca McKnight-Ireland and Kristin Sinclair.  One of these pupils, Ben Collister, achieved an A* in ‘A’ Level Mathematics after only one year of study.
