A woman has been left shaken after disturbing an intruder at her home in Antrim on Monday night.
Police are investigating the incident at Tobergill Gardens.
Detective Constable Louise Cleland said: “A 62-year-old homeowner disturbed a man inside her home at around 9pm on Monday, August 24.
“The homeowner saw the intruder through frosted glass and he left through the front door. The lady was shaken up but not physically harmed as a result of the incident.
“He appeared to have got into the house through an open back kitchen window and it is unclear what, if anything, has been taken. If you have any information on the matter, please contact detectives in Antrim on the non-emergency number 101.”
