Appeal for missing man re-issued one year on

DETECTIVES in Ballymena are renewing their appeal for local man Samuel Campbell who went missing on January 1, 2012.

Samuel left his home in Kells shortly after 2pm on Sunday, New Year’s Day, 2012, to go out on his bicycle.

He was last seen at approximately 2.45pm on that date cycling past the Halfway House Pub, Carnlough Road, Broughshane.

Samuel, who is around six feet tall, of slim build with short dark hair, was wearing black leggings, cycle glasses and a red top with the letters TCG on it.

His bicycle was later discovered by the seafront near to Glenarm on Tuesday evening, January 3 2012.

Detectives are still appealing for members of the public who may have seen Samuel in the Ballymena/Broughshane areas or on the Coast Road area of Glenarm on Sunday, January 1, 2012 or who may have any information that could assist with their enquiries, to contact police on 0845 600 8000.
