Police arrested a 66-year-old man and seized 12 cannabis plants following the search of a house in the Kilrea Road area of Cullybackey on Wednesday afternoon.
A suspected air rifle was also seized during the search.
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The find of the plants comes a week after we launched a cannabis cultivation awareness campaign. The campaign includes the distribution of scratch and sniff cards which give an insight into the smell of growing cannabis plants.
“If you have any concerns about the cultivation of cannabis in your community or indeed any form of drug supply, please contact police. Your information can help us to keep people safe and reduce the harm caused by drugs in Ballymena and beyond.”
