Attempted burglary
Detectives are appealing for information following an attempted burglary at the home of elderly occupants in the Fountain Street area of Antrim on the morning of Thursday, Novembe 5.
At approximately 6am, two windows in a house and a lock on an outhouse were damaged in an attempt to gain access.
Detective Inspector Millar said: “This is at the house of elderly occupants. I would ask anyone with any information on this incident, or who noticed any suspicious activity in the area, to contact detectives at Antrim Police Station on the non emergency number 101.
“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
