Ballymena Church commended at the RICS Building Awards

WELLINGTON Presbyterian Church has been highly commended at the RICS Northern Ireland Awards.

The Highly Commended Certificate for Community Benefit, was presented by Chairman of RICS Northern Ireland, David Duly to David Fullerton, from Fullerton Associates Chartered Surveyors, Alan Stewart and Robert McMordie from Patton Construction, Stephen McClelland from McCutcheon and Wilkinson Architects, and Norman Browne from Patton Construction.

Congratulating the teams, RICS Northern Ireland Chairman, David Duly, said: “There were a record number of entries to the awards this year and, overall, the quality of projects was extremely high. It is encouraging to see such a diverse range of buildings amongst the winners, as this illustrates that excellence in the built environment is widespread”.

RICS Northern Ireland Awards judging chairman, Alistair Dunn, added: “Local projects have been very successful in the overall RICS Awards during recent years and we would be very hopeful with regard to this year’s Northern Ireland winners, such is their high quality. We really did have an extremely tough job picking the winners this year”.
