Ballymena man John wins 'Big' on RTE Gameshow

JOHN Dillon from Ballymena has won n36,000, including two holidays to the Maldives and Rome, in the National Lottery Big Money Game on RTE.

He was one of five players from throughout the country who took part in the twelfth National Lottery’s summer scratch card and TV Gameshow last Saturday.

‘The Big Money Game’, hosted by Derek Mooney, took place in RT Studios when the biggest winner on the night was Michael Forry from Meath who won prizes to the value of n66,000.

The National Lottery’s ‘Big Money’ scratch card offers players the chance to win instant prizes up to n100,000.

Five players will be selected each week to appear on The Big Money Game TV Gameshow and have the chance to win holidays, cars and up to n250,000 in cash.

The special feature in this year’s TV Gameshow is the ‘New York City Holiday Draw’.

Every week three lucky players will win the trip of a lifetime to New York City. To be in with a chance to win this super prize, players must collect the letters N-Y-C from the stubs on Big Money scratch cards.

The Big Money Game TV Gameshow is based solely on chance and there is no skill involved.

To enter, players must submit a 3-star ticket in one of the special 3-star envelopes, which are available from all National Lottery Agents.

Each Thursday in National Lottery offices, one hundred 3-star entries are drawn randomly in a preliminary draw that takes place under strict security controls.

From these 100 entries the five players for the following show are drawn each week live on The Big Money Game TV Gameshow.
