Ballymena's first fashion exchange at Parish Centre

IS YOUR wardrobe bursting with clothes but you still love getting that must wear outfit? well Ballymena's first fashion exchange might just be what you are looking for.

The Fashion Exchange is being held at All Saints Parish Centre on the Cushendall Road on Friday September 24, it is the perfect opportunity to refresh your wardrobe and help a very important cause.

Swap your unwanted quality clothing and accessories with other fashion conscious ladies and find some real gems while beating the recession.

Pearl Mitchell, who is organising the exchange, told the Times that this is the perfect opportunity to pick up a real bargain.

She said: "This is the first event of its kind in Ballymena, we are looking for quality items for the swap which means that everyone should find something they like."

Following a red carpet welcome, there is a fabulous drinks reception from 7.30pm.

Estelle Wallace from Pure Gym at Green Pastures will be giving a short talk on stress relief methods through exercise. From 8.30pm there will be a short talk on style and recession dressing.

All money raised is going to the Crus Bereavement Care Northern Area, Pearl added: "The proceeds are going towards a very important cause, Cruse Bereavement Care Northern Area help those affected by a loss, whether they are man, woman or child."

All items must be nearly new or if possible new, and items for the swap need to be left at the Parish Centre before 4.00pm on the day of the exchange, this gives Pearl the chance to arrange the items.

Tickets are 10 with all proceeds going to Cruse Bereavement Care Northern Area.
