Achieving five A Levels, including 4 A*, Aaron has ended his days at Cambridge House Grammar School with some of the best grades achieved by a single student in recent years and will be taking a place in Oxford University to study Medicine next year.

Students sitting the A level exams this year achieved 100% A* to C grades in eleven subject departments: Art and Design; Drama; Further Mathematics; French; Spanish; Drama; Health and Social Care; Religious Studies; Sports Studies; Engineering and Construction.

Elma Lutton, Principal at Cambridge House Grammar School, said: “This year we had 97 students sitting A Levels and I am personally proud that we have continued the trend in the rise of students achieving grades A*, A and B.

“Aaron has set a precedent for students following him into A level as he really is the shining star at Cambridge House and a great role model for the younger students who are looking to emulate his achievements. He has been a wonderful head boy and I wish him well with his university life.”

As students arrived at the school from 8.00am this morning to receive their results, the anticipation was palpable and the celebrations were deafening.

The next milestone for Cambridge House is the release of the GCSE results next week and Mrs Lutton is confident that those students who sat the exams earlier this summer will achieve the grades they are hoping for.
