Ballymena officers found a total of 69 cannabis plants during two searches since Thursday (19 November).
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The first search took place on Thursday in the Cullybackey area. Officers uncovered sixty cannabis plants and a 48 year old man was arrested.
“In an unconnected search, another nine plants were found in the Ballee area of Ballymena on the afternoon of Sunday 22 November. A man aged 57 was arrested as a result of the find.
“Cannabis is an illegal drug and cannabis cultivation is a criminal offence.
