DURING the month of December Ballymena Methodist Church is hosting a Christmas Tree Festival with a display of over a dozen decorated Christmas trees.

This innovative event will be launched on Saturday 4th December 2010, together with a Christmas Craft Fair to be held in the Church Hall from 10am to 4pm.

Local businesses and craft enterprises will have a variety of stalls on display including jewellery and handbags; cakes, cards and ceramics, patchwork, pottery and plants. The Rock Ministries, the Children's Hospice, Fair Trade and the Hospice will also have stalls promoting their own very worthwhile causes.

Tea and coffee will be served throughout the day with all proceeds and donations given for the support of cancer and Alzheimer patients.
