Come along and enjoy 'a blooming great tea party'

THE Old Presbyterian Church Templepatrick is holding a Blooming Great Tea Party to raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care and everyone is invited.

The tea party which is taking place at The Old Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 24, at 10am-12pm will be open to all in the local community and beyond. There is no entrance fee, all we ask is that you leave a donation before you go. All refreshments served will be ‘Fairtrade’.

All the money raised from the tea party will help more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care to patients with terminal cancer and other illnesses in the comfort of their own homes or one of the charity’s hospices.

Minister of the Old Presbyterian Church Templepatrick, Rev. Dr. Scott Peddie said: “We would like to invite everyone to our Blooming Great Tea Party to help raise funds for Marie Curie Cancer Care. It’s going to be a fantastic event and a great way to get together with friends old and new. The more money we raise, the more free care Marie Curie Nurses can provide to people with a terminal illness.”

The tea party at the Old Presbyterian Church Templepatrick is part of many others that are taking place across the country as part of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Blooming Great Tea Party campaign, which hopes to raise one million pounds for the charity this summear.
