Community recognition for Neighbour Policing Team

The team were pipped to first place in the Neighbourhood Policing Team of the Year category by Pottinger NPT, based in South and East Belfast.

Commenting on the success, Ballymena Inspector Pete Bouma said: “The Policing with the Community Awards allow us to publicly recognise and reward police officers and police staff who are working diligently, in partnership with local people, to find long term solutions to local problems.

“I would like to congratulate the police officers and staff working in Ballymena, who have been recognised at the Awards. Their commitment and dedication to delivering a professional service, is enhancing public confidence in policing.

“The team would also like to thank those who nominated the officers for their public acknowledgement and support,” he said.
