Concerts at Glenmachan Church of God

Our new church was opened just five years with state of the art lighting/sound equipment and great parking facilities. We are happy to be hosting three more great Gospel concerts with top Gospel artists from America in May & June this year.

LEGACY FIVE will perform on Thursday, May 2, at 7.30pm. Tickets £15.

After the legendary “Cathedrals Quartet” retired in 1999, Scott Fowler and the late Roger Bennett, decided to continue with their vision of singing Southern Gospel Music. They got a group together and had their debut in January 2000. In their first 10 years they have been nominated for over 75 Singing News Fan Awards and received two DOVE AWARD nominations – the four & five part harmony that Legacy Five have been noted for has ministered to so many across America & Canada and they are looking forward to coming to Northern Ireland in May.

THE HOPPERS will perform on Wednesday, June 12, & Thursday, June 13, at 7.30pm, both nights. Tickets priced £15 per night (10% reduction if both nights purchased).

THE HOPPERS began their singing ministry back in 1957 by the founding member and owner Claude Hopper along with his brothers. Claude married Connie over 50 years ago and Connie joined the group...the group now exists of Claude & Connie, their two sons (Dean & Mike) and Kim, (Dean’s wife). Connie, a cancer survivor, is also a fantastic author of many books. They are known across America as “America’s Favourite Family of Gospel Music”. They are probably the most accredited family group in America – they have received well over 25+ awards as a group plus individual awards. Also, Kim alone, with her great soprano voice, has accumulated over 35 awards as Connie has for her great alto voice.

DAVID PHELPS will perform on Saturday, June 29, at 7.30pm. Tickets £15.

David Phelps has one of the most electrifying voices ever to enter the world of Gospel music. As a member of the Gaither Vocal Band, David has received four Dove Awards, two Grammy Awards, and more than 13 gold and 15 platinum-selling projects. As a soloist, he received 2009 Dove Award nominations for Male Vocalist of the Year and Long Form Video for his Christmas DVD, O Holy Night. And his unforgettable voice is matched only by his deep understanding of music.
