Council goes live on Twitter and Facebook
Mayor of Mid and East Antrim, Councillor Billy Ashe has launched Council’s entry to the world of social media.
Speaking as the official Facebook page and Twitter account went live, he said the social media move “represents a marvellous opportunity for the Council to interact not only with our citizens across the whole borough but also to widen our communication to what is potentially a world-wide audience”.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council’s new social media page on Facebook can be found by searching MEA Borough Council. The Twitter account address is @mea_bc.
