Mid and East Antrim Borough Council is seeking views on its draft Annual Performance Improvement Plan for 2016-2017.

The Mayor, Councillor Billy Ashe said this is an opportunity to influence an important policy document.

“Council proposes to focus on performance improvement in several areas: Strategic effectiveness, Service Quality and Efficiency.

“The draft Annual Performance Improvement Plan is now available and outlines the specific actions and measures for continuous improvement, based on the strategic priorities within the Corporate Plan.

“I urge all those with an interest in such ongoing improvement in the way Council tackles these issues in the coming year to make themselves heard,” Cllr Ashe said.

He added that that Part 12 of the Local Government Act (NI) 2014 puts in place a framework to support the continuous improvement of Council services.
