The Craigstown Road, Randalstown has been re-opened to traffic. It had been closed while police examined the scene of a single vehicle collision that occurred yesterday.

One vehicle left the road at around 7pm and the driver was taken to hospital with a head injury.

He is now believed to be in a serious condition.

The road was closed between its junction with Drumsough Road and the entrance to the Brambles with traffic at the latter being diverted towards the Barnish Road.
