The trio were due to be sentenced at Laganside Court tomorrow (Wednesday) but the case has been taken out of the list as pre-sentence probation reports in the case remain outstanding.

The case is now due for sentencing on June 12.

At earlier hearings, it was revealed that Mr Robinson was seriously assaulted before being placed in a sealed wheelie bin which was discovered a couple walking their dog in the town’s Sentry Hill park.

Lau and Patterson had initially been charged with the attempted murder of Mr Robinson before pleading guilty to the lesser charge in November of last year.
