Hate crime appeal in Ballymena

Police have appealed for information on what they are terming a ‘hate crime’ which took place more than a week ago in Ballymena.

The front window of a house in Patrick Place was smashed overnight between Sunday 22 June and Monday 23 June.

This criminal damage is being treated as a racially motivated hate crime.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Ballymena police on the new non-emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
