Police have appealed for witnesses and information following a burglary at a house in the Fernisky Road area of Kells.
It was reported that at around midday on Thursday (February 16), a sum of money was taken from a hand bag located in the kitchen of the house.
It is believed two youths, described as wearing beanie hats and dark tracksuit bottoms entered the rear of the house whilst the homeowner was in the front yard of the property.
We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact detectives at Ballymena Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 451 of the 16/02/17.
