Money laundering arrests in Ballymena
Detectives from PSNI Organised Crime Branch today arrested two people as part of an ongoing proactive investigation into money laundering and insurance fraud.
A man aged 48 and a woman aged 39 were arrested in the Ballymena area and are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
The investigation is expected to continue for some time. So far, 16 people have been arrested since May this year.
