Purse snatch - police appeal
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman reported the theft of a sum of cash in the Larne Street area of Ballymena just after midnight on Wednesday 13 November.
The woman reported that after she withdrew a sum of money from an ATM in the area and walked away across a car park, she was approached by a man who had emerged from an nearby alley way. The man was said to have snatched her purse containing the money and ran off. The man is described as of average build and was said to have been wearing a black jacket and jeans.
