Police have arrested a man aged 36 following an assault at a house in Drumtara in the early hours of Sunday 10 May.
The man was charged with attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is due to appear in court in Coleraine today (11 May).
Chief Inspector Stephen McCauley said: “The arrest was made after two women and a man suffered knife injuries early on Sunday morning.
The injuries included cuts and grazes which are not life threatening. Officers arrested the man around an hour after the initial report of the attempted grievous bodily harm.”
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
