A woman is to go on trial next month on fraud charges connected to the theft of money from wedding accounts at Galgorm Resort & Spa.
Nicola Currell (39), of Coastguard Cottages, Glenarm, faces a total of 12 charges, allegedly committed on a number of dates between April 2008 and September 2011.
A Prosecution lawyer submitted that Currell has a case to answer. No contrary submissions were made by defence counsel Aaron Thompson. Currell made no reply to the charges during a preliminary enquiry at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The case was adjourned to Antrim Crown Court on February 11 with Currell released on her own bail of £500. A defence application for one counsel was granted by District Judge Des Perry.
