Cullybackey WI at Greenmount
MEMBERS of Cullybackey WI travelled to Greenmount College, Antrim, on June 9, for an event celebrating 80 years of the Women’s Institute in Northern Ireland.
Some visitors from Enfield Irish Countrywomen’s Association, who were staying with some of the Cullybackey members, also travelled with the group and enjoyed the many interesting displays, demonstrations, stalls, and walks plus the chance to meet up with members from other Institutes.
After Greenmount, they headed to Carnlough for an evening meal in the Londonderry Arms Hotel followed by a stroll around the harbour.
Birthday girl for June was Merle Campbell.
