Einstein influence at Cullybackey!

Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster has told local primary school children that they could be the innovators of the future.

Opening the science and technology event ‘IN-O-V8’ at Cullybackey College, on Friday morning, Arlene Foster said: “Young minds are creative; they are imaginative, enthusiastic and they consider nothing to be impossible – the perfect combination for innovative thinking.

“It is very important that we work to harness this enthusiasm and creativity at an early stage, which is why events like ‘IN-O-V8’ are so worthwhile.

“The young people visiting Cullybackey College today are getting a real taster of the exciting world of innovation, science, technology and entrepreneurship,” said the Minister.

Around 700 primary seven pupils from local schools attended the interactive event at the College, which included a robotics roadshow, science show called ‘Potions and Explosions’ as well as a range of technology workshops.
