Engage with 1st Ballymena

AT a certain time each month those who drive along Meeting House Lane will see a banner above the entrance door to First Ballymena's halls. It says 'Engage'.

What is Engage?

It is a monthly evening service that happens in First Ballymena Halls complex. It is a service for all the family and includes the use of multi-media, drama and music to illustrate the message and to communicate it to all ages.

What is its purpose?

The aim of Engage is part of our church purpose to Engage with our community and with a wider circle of people and to encourage them to engage in contemporary forms of worship. It is our aim to engage once again with people who have long since given up on traditional church and to enable them to engage in a new and fresh relationship with God.

How long does it last for?

From about 45 minutes to an hour. However it doesn’t stop there. There is tea and coffee afterwards and people are invited to stay around to have fellowship with each other and chat about the service or just chat. Everyone is welcome.

When is the next one?

Sunday 3 October at 6.30pm – look out for the banner.
