Galgorm Spa campaign raises funds for ‘Simon’

GALGORM Resort & Spa has raised almost £6,000 for one of its charity partners, The Simon Community.

The Ballymena Resort’s ‘SleepSmart’ campaign has so far raised £5,691.82 for the charity after launching in January this year.

The initiative, created by Galgorm Resort & Spa to raise much needed funds for the homeless charity, adds a voluntary £1 donation to each booking made by guests at the luxury Resort.

The charity partnership is aimed at engaging with guests at Galgorm to raise awareness of people within the local community who will find themselves homeless this winter.

Victoria Brown, Sales Executive at Galgorm Resort & Spa, said: “The response to our campaign from guests and staff has been overwhelming and we’re thrilled with the money that’s been raised so far.

“We still have three months to go in the fundraising programme and we’re hoping to raise lots more cash for The Simon Community before the end of the year.”

Susan Smith from The Simon Community added: “We’re very grateful for the support of Galgorm Resort & Spa and thank them for helping raise a fantastic amount of money for our charity.
