Galgorm walkway to close for Open Golf Challenge
The popular walkway through Galgorm Castle Estates is to be closed from August 25-31, during the NI Open Golf Challenge, with the permission of Ballymena Borough Council.
Galgorm Castle Golf Club is the venue for the event at which some of Europe’s top young players will be competing for a share of the 140,000 prize fund. In a bid to effectively manage and marshal it, Galgorm Castle Estates Ltd sought written consent to temporarily close the permissive path which extends from the entrance to the golf course at Galgorm Road through to the Sourhill Road.
