Glarryford Women's Institute report
THE SPEAKER at Glarryford Women's Institute's meeting was Alan Ashenhurst who gave a very interesting talk about his collection of Ornamental Pigs, a selection of which he brought along.
Alan has been collecting pigs of all shapes and sizes for the past 30 years.
He has travelled all over the world and brought back pigs (many of them very valuable) from all his trips.
Marion Gregg proposed a vote of thanks.
The prize winners for the cutest pig were Pearl Paul, Muriel Whitters and Sylvia McLaughlin.
