First Citizen, Cllr Billy Ashe said: “With up to £2,500 on offer, Council feels this will be a valuable contribution towards empowering local communities to promote Good Relations work within their own areas. An additional benefit is that it is also a 100% funding programme.”

There will be a four-week open call for applications and groups are encouraged to apply online at http://www.midandeastantrim.gov.uk/ by the deadline of noon on July 24.

Groups will be asked to clearly link how their application meets one of four key themes (‘Children and Young People’, ‘Our Shared Community’, ‘Our Safe Community’, ‘Cultural Expression’) with applications scored accordingly.
